The Secret to How I'm Having the Most Successful Month of My Career on Soundcloud

This June has been my best month of all time on Soundcloud. I have been posting a new track every 1-2 days for a total of 18 tracks so far this month. I did some math using ChatGPT. To make a couple thousand dollars per month, you need an estimated 500k+ plays.

To address the need for more volume, I’ve been creating a ton of tracks using Suno AI. This has allowed me to make some very interesting instrumentals, and posting them to my Soundcloud account has grown my audience by 1500% this month. I repost every one of the tracks I upload on my personal Soundcloud account to my Duff Radio page for added exposure.

I’m also using the new Next Pro feature. According to Soundcloud, when enabled, this feature puts your track in front of an audience of 100 people who are most likely to enjoy it. This doesn’t mean those 100 people will listen to you, but it at least puts your track in front of a bigger audience from the start.

Along with monetizing these tracks through Soundcloud Artist, I’ve been using Midjourney to create all my cover art. This helps me make some eye-catching visuals.

Lastly, I’ve made sure that all of my tracks’ tags are backed by keyword research. Using the dropdown menu on the search bar, I make sure that all of my tags have some variation of my target keyword. I type in my keywords and make my tags all of the recommended keyword combinations that Soundcloud already lists for me. This is to make sure that when someone types in my keyword, my tracks rank higher.
