Most repeated phrase in the Bible

February 13, 2024 @ 5:59 PM

I am grateful to be alive. I’m grateful for my grandfather’s life. He was nearly taken from us last night. He is in the hospital in Columbia. I pray for my grandmother. I pray for my aunt and uncle and cousins. I pray for my parents and Sara.

I’m grateful to be here in New Mexico with Sav and my dogs. We had a splendid day today. I am relishing in Sav’s company. She’s a great woman. She’s a joy to be around.

We had a great time walking the dogs and enjoying the sun today. We’ve been doing circuits on this playground equipment outside, and it’s been improving our mood. The outdoors are a saving grace.

I am blessed with opportunity. I spent all day doing managerial tasks and paying taxes. I am proud of myself, and I’m proud of Sav. We have really come far. I am blessed to have the money I have. I have so many amazing opportunities ahead of me.

I know that challenges lie ahead for me. They must. I anticipate them and attack them from a positive frame of mind.

I know that I am ready for more. I accept the burden of my responsibilities. I delight in them. The most difficult things in life are ALWAYS the most important things.

I take pride in the way I provide for my family. I am focused and skilled and attentive and disciplined. I am strong beyond belief. I fear nothing.

I find it interesting that one of the most repeated commands in the Bible is some variation of “Do not be afraid.” So, I do not fear. My life will end. Yours will end. We will all return home when it is our time. This is the natural cycle of creation and chaos.

Another interesting tidbit on the [Greek word for chaos](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaos_(cosmogony)#:~:text=Chaos%20(Ancient%20Greek%3A%20%CF%87%CE%AC%CE%BF%CF%82%2C,separation%20of%20heaven%20and%20earth. “chaos COMES FROM the Greek word creation”) and creation. Creation IS Chaos.

It is time I ask myself – what is going well, and what could be going better?

What’s going well?

I am physically strong. My weight is back up in the high 190’s. I am lifting more often. Sav and I are exercising outside. I feel close and connected with her. These are times to be cherished. I know that I’ll look back on these as the old days.

A year ago, I wrote to my future self. I said I’d be an author and that I’d have expanded on my videography career.

I have done just this. Duff Radio is up and running. The power of the written word. It carries manifesting ability.

I have submitted my manuscript to several book publishers over the past week. They include Shambhala Publications, Sounds True, and Hay House. I look forward to their response. Retweet and tag them and enjoy a link to my free book.

What could be better?

I have got to stop smoking. My lungs need to heal. I need to get in great cardiovascular shape. This will help with boxing at Zia Martial Arts (which I have not been to in TWO WEEKS – must get back).

I have to keep making money for us. I’m appreciative of God and the opportunities I have. I have to work and be worthy of my money. It requires sacrifice and hard work and discipline.

I am thankful for Sav cooking me chicken thighs. It will help my body grow stronger.

I am now getting busy with work. Thankful for that, too. Let’s absolutely get it. Better tomorrow.
