Dispatch
Here I sit.
In a random parking lot on the New Mexico State campus, connected to a mobile hotspot. I have a bowl of oatmeal in my front seat. A coffee is sitting on the dashboard. I’m listening to lots of new music and making new connections.
I’ve been very active on Twitter lately. I’m using it as a platform to engage with people.
I have a real business. My salary is exploding. I bring great value to the marketplace. I have loads of wonderful ideas.
I realize that I must continue to connect with other people. That’s why I’m marketing myself and staying very active online. It’s a great strategy for success. I have been updating my website with more of my work. I spent all weekend in the Gila National Forest, filming, making money, and doing pushups. I woke up at 4 a.m. to smoke and do planks and WORK. It felt damn good.
One thing I can do better on – cold showers. I’m skimping on them. I must get my ass back in there and suffer.
I’m doing good in the gym. I’m heavy and strong. I made it a point to hit the bag and bench, squat and shoulder press, and do some curls last night.
I have been driving around and listening to Alex Hormozi and Chris Williamson. It is important for me to listen to men with more money than me. It requires a level of humility.
I always go into things intending to get something out of it, whether it’s a book or a podcast. I try to learn new things from people and apply them to my own life and my own craft.
I had an excellent conversation with Parker Jazz yesterday, and I will be proud to release it later this week on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts. We talked about his recent successes with Netflix’s Top Boy series and collaborating with record producer Cardo. I will release our conversation in parts to reach a broader audience.
I’m also keeping my blog and X and Reddit profiles regularly updated. I’ve seen a 1,000% increase in audience engagement, which keeps me reassured that I’m on the right path. I hope nothing more than to pursue what I love and be useful to others.
I meditated this morning, which was important. I got a full 8 hours of sleep and dreamt heavily about charging with my men on the football field. Firing them up. Leading them. This is the true me. I am a warrior at heart. I cherish opportunities to compete with other great men. Iron sharpens iron. I cannot afford to be isolated and alone. I need to constantly push myself and search for ways that I can improve.
I am a strong man. This is what I love most about myself. I have an incredibly solid foundation. My body is hardened after years of discipline and work. I am in complete control of my mind. I know what works for me. I understand breathwork, meditation, and energy exchanges. I eat very well and pay close attention to what goes into my body. I love coffee and peanut butter and fruit. I must continue to drink as much water as possible to stay hydrated.
I am trusting God to provide for me. I trust that the answers to my questions will come. I am simply living my life one day at a time. I am in New Mexico. I know that the Lord has led me here, as I prayed upon it last year at this very time. I’ve now found myself in Taos, Silver City, Albuquerque, Las Cruces, Deming, Truth or Consequences, Santa Fe, and countless other places around the state. I trust the Source to shelter me and make me even stronger.
I look forward to my opportunities to fight this week. I have a great path forward. Let’s get after it and then get after it some more.
Until next time,
Ty McDuffey
