ChatGPT 4o image generation will change the game for self-publishing on Amazon KDP. It’s now possible to design high-quality book covers yourself without the need for a cover designer.

This is a cover I created for The Eagle’s Nest: A Novel of Bleeding Kansas, my self-published American historical fiction book set in Lecompton, KS, just before the start of the Civil War. ChatGPT 4o image generation does particularly well with text, which is something previous image models didn’t do well. These tools will only continue to get better.
